An extensive curriculum inspires growing pupils to extend capabilities and broaden horizons for the coming step-change in their education.
Classes remain small, with a focus on individual attention and generally from Year 4 pupils are taught by subject specialists with a 'Form Tutor' overseeing their pastoral care. Focus on maths, English and sciences remains in line with the National Curriculum, with setting in maths and groups for certain English activities. Pupils also learn geography, history, French, religious studies, music, information technology, art, craft, design and technology.
Academically able pupils are stretched to their potential; children with special needs receive expert help to extend their learning, so every child can move on to their next school feeling prepared and confident.
