Our Covid Response

Since January 2020 Windlesham School and Nursery has tried its best to balance the various health concerns posed by Covid with providing for the social, emotional and academic needs of our pupils.

Wherever and whenever possible, Windlesham School has remained open. However, when forced to close we provided a very comprehensive remote learning programme encompassing all curriculum areas. With each return to remote learning, we have further improved our provision to accommodate the needs of all pupils. These efforts have resulted in many commendations from our parent community and registrations of new pupils.

We are now particularly well placed to transition to virtual teaching swiftly, with very little loss of learning time. This option is ready in the eventuality of another whole school closure or if a bubble is required to self-isolate.

Please find below a list of the key documents relating to the way we teach remotely and also pertaining to the measures within school which we have implemented to keep our community safe.
