The best way to see our School is to arrange an individual tour with our Headteacher. These can be arranged for Mondays – Fridays during term time. Please register your interest below and our Admissions Officer will be happy to arrange a time to visit which is convenient for you.
Following your tour, the next step in the admissions process would be for your child to attend a taster day. They will participate in all of the lessons for that year group and will get to take part in any lunchtime clubs we have available on that day.
If your child is joining our Nursery or Reception, we will arrange a taster session; the sessions usually last 1 – 2 hours, depending on age.
For children joining Year 1 – Year 6, a full taster day will be arranged.
If requested, our SENDCO, Mrs Kiernan, will spend some dedicated time with your child to ensure that we can meet their needs.
Children joining during Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) will undergo a short assessment. There is no preparation required for this.
If a taster day is not possible, we will gain your child’s most recent reports and gather feedback from their most recent school to make an informed decision.
Step 3 – Offers
Following the taster session/day, our Headteacher will gather feedback from staff which will ensure an informed decision is made.
Our Headteacher aims to give feedback through a telephone conversation the next working day, following the taster day.
Step 4 – Registration
Once a verbal offer has been made by the Headteacher, the admissions team will confirm the offer via email. This email will include registration information and forms for completion. Once these forms are returned to us with the registration fee and School deposit, we will be able to confirm the place for your child in writing.
If your child is joining in the Autumn term, we have dedicated transition sessions in the Summer term where children can meet their new classmates and teachers and familiarise themselves with the school before the start of the Autumn Term.
If your child is joining during the school year, we can arrange separate transition sessions for them to meet their teachers and classmates.
You will also be invited to upcoming school events to enable you to meet our School community in advance, should you wish.
